2016 Copain Tous Ensamble Chardonnay

100% Chardonnay

Sonoma Coast, California

Color: Light golden yellow. Aroma: Floral aromatics of honeysuckle, jasmine, white blossom, pineapple mint; meyer lemon, verbena, mandarin and tangerine, pink lady apple. Flavor: Simple, pleasing texture in mouth, with lively acid that hits up front and is followed behind by fuji apple and asian pear flavors. This wine sees foot tread in macro bins before going direct to press in whole clusters. It is then pressed to tank, settled overnight, and barreled down. Natural fermentation (primary and MLF) in take place in barrel. No stirring. The wine is aged on lees for 8 months, and then in stainless steel tanks for 2 months.

2018 Copain Tous Ensamble Rosé

100% Pinot Noir

Mendocino County, California

The 2018 Tous Ensemble Rose of Pinot Noir exudes aromatics of pink grapefruit, strawberries, white peach and freshly plucked rose petals. With a subtle hue of pale salmon, this rosé produces notes of melon, fresh cherries, lychee and anise. Fermented and aged entirely in stainless steel tanks, this wine demonstrates freshness and a long, mouthwatering finish.

2017 Tous Ensamble Pinot Noir

100% Pinot Noir

Sonoma Coast, California

The 2017 Tous Ensemble Pinot Noir is our second offering from the Sonoma Coast appellation. Taking what we learned the previous year and isolating our favorite blocks in the vineyard, we were able to take the wine to the next level of quality. The goal for this blend is a wine that is true to the Copain style of being an elegant expression of Pinot Noir, yet a bit more friendly to drink upon release. On the nose are screaming aromatics: hints of pomegranate and anise, and, as the wine opens up, strawberry and black tea emerge. This wine is plush on the entry, but given tension by its fine grain tannin and nervy acid.

2017 Rodney Strong “Upshot” Red Blend

31% Merlot, 31% Zinfandel, 30% Malbec, 5% Riesling, & 3% Petit Verdot

Sonoma County, California

Rodney Strong sustainably farms 14 estate vineyards and produces wines from Sonoma County’s finest appellations—Alexander Valley, Russian River Valley, Chalk Hill, Dry Creek Valley, Knights Valley, Petaluma Gap, and Sonoma Coast. We aspire to conserve and protect the environment in all winery operations through sustainable practices, solar power, and fish friendly farming.  This rich, supple wine bursts with blackberry and dark cherries with hints of spice followed by lush, rounded tannins and a lingering finish.

This Estate Sauvignon Blanc displays everything one would expect from Sauvignon Blanc grown at altitude in rock-driven soils: exotic fruit character grounded by serious textural and structural components. Aromas of Meyer lemon and Thai basil food the nose, with background notes of pear and lemon blossom to add intrigue. On the palate, the depth is on full display, with a broad, rich texture counterbalanced by razor acidity and superb length bolstered by flavors of fennel and lemon zest.

2016 Copain Les Voisins Pinot Noir

100% Pinot Noir

Anderson Valley, California

The 2016 “Les Voisins” Pinot Noir represents the focus and concentration that this vintage will be known for. This bottling presents aromatics of black cherry skins, star anise, and sweet tea leaves. On the pallet, flavors of raspberry compote and red currants are met with notes of forest floor and vanilla. The lush, silky texture is balanced with a lasting finish.

2016 Copain Les Voisins Syrah

100% Syrah

Yorkville Highlands, Anderson Valley, California

The Les Voisins Syrah is a shining example of a fantastic vintage in Yorkville Highlands. With a gorgeous deep purple color, this wine pleases on many levels. With lovely aromas of violets, black currant and white pepper, the flavors of ripe wild blackberries, figs and mocha combine for a deliciously satisfying wine. The palate is rich with black fruits, spice and cedar notes, backed by plush tannins that will be the perfect complement to shortribs, lamb and grilled ribeye. Aged 16-18 months in partially used oak. We recommend decanting for 1-2 hours before enjoying.
