Wines Lake County, California – Dancing Crow Vineyards!!

As champions of the region, Dancing Crow is a family-owned and operated winery with a shared winemaking legacy spanning four generations. We specialize in sustainably grown, French-style wines. The unique combination of volcanic soil, high-elevation vineyards, and mountain-grown fruit allows us to make a more delicate alternative to the traditionally bolder Napa Valley wines you might be used to. Our flagship variety, Sauvignon Blanc, grows beautifully in the region’s abundant sunshine and clean mountain air and is celebrated for its citrus flavors and good acidity.

One cool, Spring day in the shadow of Mt. Konocti, a family came to lay out their vineyard using straws to mark where the vines would be planted. While feasting during their midday lunch they saw a murder of crows dancing around the straws, which made them laugh. Yet, when they looked again, the crows and the straws were gone. The family learned two things that day: be wary of dancing crows, and what to name their vineyard.

2021 Cabernet Sauvignon

100% Cabernet Sauvignon

With its mountain vineyards rising as high as 3000 ft., Lake County is renowned for producing full-bodied, beautifully balanced Cabernets. Our Dancing Crow Cabernet Sauvignon shows aromas of cassis and mocha, followed by luscious flavors of ripe cherry, blueberry and dark chocolate.

2021 Field Blend

Zinfandel, Cinsault and Alicante Bouschet,Touriga Naçional, Syrah, Primitivo,

Cabernet Sauvignon

With a color dancing between red and deep purple, this opulent and vibrant glass of wine gives off aromas of wild iris, sandalwood and blueberry pie.  The palate is enlivened by a steady, generous flow of brambly huckleberry and bright blackberry flavors.  The mid-palate is accented by a refreshing acidity that pleasantly escorts you to subtle spice notes of wild thyme, white pepper and lavender on the way to a lengthy and lingering smooth mocha finish.

2021 Zinfandel

100% Zinfandel

The wine has deliciously juicy aromas of balsamic strawberries, red currant, boysenberry, plum, spice and purple flower. As one might expect with a Zinfandel, the Dancing Crow is nicely bold with full with flavors of black licorice, strawberry and raspberry that come in for a landing with soft tannins and a smooth finish.  Fun to drink by the glass, this is a fresh textured wine that also goes perfectly with Chicago style pan pizza, beef Bolognese lasagna, salami and sharp cheeses.

Wines of South Africa – M·A·N Family Wines!!

As budding young winemakers back in 2001, Philip and Tyrell were involved with their family winery (Joostenberg Wines) and José was busy at his (Stark-Condé Wines). They weren’t looking for rockstar bottles that cost a fortune. But they had pretty high standards and wanted wines they could enjoy with their friends. They were wine geeks in need of an everyday wine. They saw a niche in the market and got to work but first had to come up with a name for this new project. To keep peace in the families, they took their wives’ initials — and that is how they explained to Marie, Anette and Nicky that they were going to be “busy” most weekends. “It’s for you!” they told them. They immediately got to work in an old tractor shed and began their line of M·A·N wines!

All these wines are Certified Sustainable and Vegan Friendly! All line priced at $11.99/bottle

2022 Free-run Steen Chenin Blanc

100% Chenin Blanc

Their Chenin Blanc is made from dry-farmed old vine vineyards in the prime growing region of Agter-Paarl.  Gently extracted "free-run" juice is used, which accentuates the crisp fruit flavors for which Chenin Blanc, or Steen, is known.  The impeccable balance of refreshing acidity and burst of ripe fruit makes this wine a consistent crowd favorite. This wine is crisp and light-bodied, with appropriate degrees of bright fruit and acidity to entice the palate.  A rich mouthfeel makes this wine suitable as an aperitif, and also a fine companion to a wide range of cuisines. Light straw in color with aromas of pear and pineapple.  The palate with pick up white peach, green apple and a burst of citrus, with well-rounded acidity minerality and a rich mouthfeel. Unoaked.

2022 Warrelwind Sauvignon Blanc

89% Sauvignon Blanc & 11% Semillon

This Sauvignon Blanc is produced from higher, cooler vineyards in the Cape. Warrelwind (whirlwinds) are common in the vineyards throughout summer. The seasonal winds cool the grapes and turn the windmills dotting the landscape. A refreshing and balanced wine with an abundance of flavors from both sides of the Sauvignon Blanc spectrum. This wine has tropical fruit aromas with just a hint of herbaceousness. Rich tropical fruit on the palate complemented by a crisp and well-integrated acidity. Color: Pale straw, light green tinge. Aroma: Bouquet of tropical fruits. Palate: Passionfruit, pineapple and ripe tropical flavors. Body: Crisp, well-integrated acidity is balanced by richness from the touch of Semillon used in blending, resulting in a well-rounded and creamy mouthfeel. Unoaked.

2022 Padstal Chardonnay

 91% Chardonnay, 6% Viognier & 3% Muscat d’Alexandrie

This elegant and well-balanced wine shines a spotlight on the delicate, fruit-forward virtues of the Chardonnay grape. Padstals, or roadside farm stalls, are familiar sights along our rural roads. Our Padstal Chardonnay is a delicate balancing act of crisp and zesty fruit, a smooth mouthfeel and subtle oak flavors. This elegant wine appeals not only to seasoned Chardonnay drinkers, but also to those looking for a fresh interpretation of the classic varietal. Color: Pale straw. Aroma: Pineapple, orange marmalade and butterscotch. Palate: Zesty lime, lemon and white peach. Body: Crisp and fresh, medium texture on the palate, with a creamy mouthfeel.

2021 Jan Fiskaal Merlot

100% Merlot

The Jan Fiskaal (fiscal strike) is a common sight in the vineyards. A small bird with a fierce reputation, its “chee-chee-chee” cry and black and white coloring make it easily recognizable. An elegant, classic style of Merlot with distinctive plum flavors and soft tannins.  Dark ruby-red with aromas of plum, cherry and tobacco spices, complemented by savory and earthy notes typical of Merlot.  On the palate, the wine is soft with gentle tannins and hints of dark chocolate and blueberry. This medium-bodied wine will be wonderful just by itself or paired with roast chicken, lamb stew, lasagna and barbeque.

2021 Bosstok Pinotage

100% Pinotage

The Bosstok Pinotage vineyards grow close to the ground, producing lower yields of concentrated, flavorful grapes. A modern style that showcases the best Pinot Noir-like characteristics of Pinotage. Juicy bright fruits, soft tannins and a perfumed nose make this a very accessible Pinotage. We like to focus on the juicier, softer side of Pinotage by carefully managing the fermenting wine. We are able to emphasize the soft mouthfeel, perfume and expressive fruit of Pinotage. Just a touch of oak maturation means the result is delicate and pretty, with beautiful red berry flavors, a hint of cinnamon and very gentle tannins. The sweet fruit flavors of this medium- bodied Pinotage make it an ideal match for spicy food, pizza, smoked pork and flavorful venison dishes, or delicious just by itself.

2021 Skaapveld Syrah

85% Syrah, 15% Cinsault

Skaapveld refers to the grazing land for sheep that adjoins many of the Syrah vineyards in their region. Whether the sheep have any effect on the wine is open to debate, but they add a lively encouragement during harvest time. A distinctive wine: juicy and complex with well-rounded and lingering flavors.  The bouquet is aromatic and gamey and licorice aromas.  The palate has mouth-filling blackcurrant and plum flavors with finely integrated tannins.  This layered, medium bodied Syrah will complement slow-cooked stews, curry and barbequed meat.

2011 Hensken Rankin Brut

70% Chardonnay & 30% Pinot Noir

Tasmania

THE ISLAND STATE of Tasmania finally separated from Australia’s land mass some 12,000 years ago. It is a cooler climate, and in parts much wilder than the rest of Australia. The western part of the island is largely wild, and separated from the east by a series of mountains: Mt. Ossa, the Great Western Mountains, Mt. Wellington, and the Derwent Highlands. Collectively, these formations create a rain shadow effect. While the western portion is thick with verdant forests, the eastern side is drier, and better suited to viticulture. The nose demonstrates lees and bottle age with a roasted hazelnut and marzipan character, but stays remarkably fresh-fruited, with notes of orange oil, quandong (a native red peach), and white flowers. The palate is regal and bright, with a fine but soft effervescence, striking acidity, and a long finish.

2016 Gusbourne Blanc de Blanc Brut

100% Chardonnay

Kent, England

At Gusbourne, the goal is simple: to create the finest wines in the world. A deep respect for nature, an uncompromising quest for quality and a fastidious approach to detail is at the heart of everything at Gusbourne. This Blanc de Blancs typifies the linear purity of this classic style. They select their finest lots of Chardonnay that exhibit natural minerality, ensuring that the wine has both finesse and elegance as well as the requisite qualities for extended aging. The 2016 Brut Blanc de Blancs opens in the glass with aromas of crisp orchard fruit, white flowers and citrus zest framed by hints of pastry cream and fresh bread that's less overtly autolytic in profile than its 2015 counterpart. Medium to full-bodied, pure and precise, with racy acids and a delicate core of fruit, it's beautifully balanced and suspect it will age very well indeed. Certified Sustainable by SWGB.

$63.99

2017 Izar-Leku Hondarrabi Zuri

100% Hondarribi Zuri

Zarautz, Vino de Espana, Basque Country, Spain

Though the seacoast towns of the País Vasco may seem worlds away from Rioja, they in fact lie little more than an hour’s drive over the Sierra Cantabria from the Rioja Alavesa. It is this close cultural connection which led Artadi’s López de Lacalle family to develop a stunningly high-quality traditional-method sparkling wine made from Hondarribi Zuri grown in the Getariako Txakolina zone (though not carrying the DO). Here, in the coastal town of Zarautz, they have

collaborated with grower Inaxio Manterola for the sea-kissed, rippingly high-acid raw material ideal for two and half years of sur-lie aging before disgorgement with no dosage. The result is Izar-Leku, a sparkling wine packed with natural energy which after a long aging in bottle produces a wine with great aromatic complexity and an attractive distinct saline minerality.

$39.99

2018 Eva Fricke Extra Brut Rosé Sekt

100% Pinot Noir

German Sparkling Wine

Weingut Eva Fricke is a young estate that was founded only in 2006. However, what makes things even more interesting is that its founder Eva Fricke was born to two doctors, not a winemaking family, and in Bremen, a place better known for beer and cars. Notes of strawberry, blackcurrant and brioche, this extra brut is creamy and intense with a fine bead. Cherry blossoms and raspberries, & delicate notes of brioche, fruity, juicy lightness, dry mineral finish. This was made at the Raumland facility using Méthode Champenoise technique with 22 months on the lees and only 2 g/l dosage.

$79.99

2015 Keller Estate Brut Rosé

87% Pinot Noir & 13% Chardonnay

Sonoma Coast, California

Grapes were picked 2 weeks earlier than normal to ensure the ideal acid/alcohol balance. Once harvested, they had eight hours of skin contact to achieve a light pink color followed by a very gentle press cycle. The base wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks with no malolactic fermentation to achieve the bright yet delicate aromas of

rose and raspberry. After the secondary fermentation, wine was aged on its lees for 24 months, followed by a dosage of 9g/L residual sugar, classifying this as a Brut. On the palate features delicate pink grapefruit a long dry finish with the beautiful minerality that is so clearly the Keller Estate terroir.

Hand-sorted fruit was whole cluster pressed. The juice then settled for 2 days at 30°F before it was racked cleanly and inoculated for primary fermentation. It was maintained at 60-62°F in stainless steel tanks until fermentation was complete.  A clean and fruity, dry white wine with notes of ripe mango, white peaches, and hints of passion fruit and elderflowers. Medium bodied, with balanced acidity, firm tannins, and a clean, crisp finish.  Perfect as a “patio” wine, to sip by itself, it also pairs extremely well with spicy foods including Mexican, Thai and Indian cuisines. Unoaked.

2020 Claudie Jobard Rully Montagne La Folie Bourgogne Blanc

 100% Chardonnay

Rully, France

This wine has a real presence in the glass, with a lovely pale-golden hue. There's a warming toastiness to the nose, a notable hint of citrus and clementine, with notes of almond and herb. The palate is bold, weighty and full-bodied, there's toasted almond, hazelnut and notes of dried orchard fruit. There's an element of delicate spice and minerality with a creaminess, almost buttery character to the finish which completes with a cleansing citrus zing. The finish is lengthy, warming and complex. This really is full-on, intense white Burgundy.

The fruit was hand-harvested and then fermented and aged in French oak. Fuller-bodied on the palate with great fruit and freshness. A great match for soft and aged cheeses.  Organic & Sustainable.

N/V Roederer Estate California Brut

60% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir

Anderson Valley, California

The current release of the NV Estate Brut is made up mainly of fruit from the 2015 vintage. It is a blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir and was made with about ten grams per liter dosage. Disgorged in October of 2018, it has a fresh, open nose with pure fruit expression: crushed apples, pears and lemon peel mingle with touches of stone, flowers and toast. The medium-bodied palate offers a lovely dichotomy of toasty fruits with uplifted citrusy, minerally accents with a finely beaded mousse, and it finishes long and ultra fresh.

2019 Pieropan Soave

 85% Garganega & 15% Trebbiano

Soave Classico DOC, Veneto, Italy

The 2019 Pieropan Soave is a brilliant straw yellow color with greenish hints. The delicate nose is reminiscent of almond blossoms and marzipan. Good depth of fruit on the palate, nicely balanced by a zingy acidity that enhances its long length. The wine remains in glass-lined cement tanks on the fine lees for a period which varies according to the vintage. In the spring following the harvest the wine is bottled and then released after at least a further month in bottle.

$18.99

2017 Wonderment Sauvignon Blanc

100% Sauvignon Blanc

Hyde Vineyard, Carneros, Napa Valley, California

Right in step with Wonderment’s first-rate 2016 effort from the same site, this year’s version is a very well-crafted, explicitly varietal effort that brings together elements of citrus, ripe melons, peaches, fresh herbs and a deft bit of creamy oak in a deep and seamlessly married mix. It is moderately full-bodied and slightly fleshy in feel with neatly placed acidity affording it plenty of life, and, as was the case with its predecessor, it is a beautifully balanced wine that, while delicious right now, has all of the right pieces in place to guarantee a good half-decade or more of positive growth.

$27.99

2020 Gallica Cabernet Franc

100% Cabernet Franc

Napa Valley AVA, California

Tasty and meant for immediate enjoyment all summer long. We fermented Cabernet Franc gently, taking some liberty with traditional carbonic methods along with minimal intervention. Inspired by the wines of Chinon and Morgon but uniquely from California. Every decision from picking through bottling was designed to show off the beauty of cabernet franc. Oak free and medium in body, the wine is deceptively complex. Fresh roses, ripe and aromatic blackberry with notes of graphite and a hint of cool cedar. Easily paired with an array of food choices from simple green olives, lemon roasted chicken, a young Gouda, to mushroom filled Asian dumplings. We recommend cellar temperature or even slightly chilled for serving.

 $47.99

2019 Can Blau Cellars ‘Can Blau’ Rosso

40% Cariñena, 40% Syrah, 20% Garnacha

Monstant DO, Spain

Bright purple. Spice-accented black and blue fruit aromas are complemented by violets and woodsmoke. Round and seamless on the palate, offering juicy blackberry and cassis flavors that are lifted and formed by zesty acidity. The finish is framed by gentle, harmonious tannins, with very good breadth, thrust and persistence. Aged 12 months in French oak.

$19.99

2019 Amizetta Tradition Napa Red Blend

Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Syrah, & Petit Verdot

Napa Valley, California

A lush full-bodied wine with aromatic notes of dark cherry cobbler, Santa Rosa plums and ripe bramble berries. The French oak barrels add subtle accents of French vanilla and toasted caramel on the palate. A luxurious body with smooth satin tannins providing a long, lingering finish. Aged in 55% new French oak barrels, aged 18 months.

2020 Peay Vineyards CEP Sauvignon Blanc
100% Sauvignon Blanc
Hopkins Ranch Vineyard, Russian River Valley AVA, Sonoma, California

Nick and Vanessa met Bob Hopkins a few years ago at an Integrated Pest Management class. As organic farmers you attend IPM classes to learn how to attract beneficial pests that will combat nasty insects in the vineyard. That way you can avoid pesticides. Nick took a shine to Bob and mentioned that his brother wanted to make crisp, minerally, zippy Sauvignon Blanc, but, of course, we cannot grow Sauvignon Blanc at our very cold estate vineyard. Bob was kind enough to offer us Sauvignon Blanc from his blocks of 40-year-old vines. And the result is – uniquely delicious. This is not the Bordeaux style of Sauvignon Blanc that Vanessa made when she was winemaker at Peter Michael where there is barrel aging and often Semillon in the blend. On the contrary, the grapes are picked to capture the citrus, green papaya, lemon blossom, chalky side of Sauvignon Blanc. It is tank fermented to retain acidity and freshness and bottled in the December following vintage. Organic.
$22.99

2018 Pra Monte Grande Soave Classico
70% Garganega & 30% Trebbiano
Soave Classico DOC, Veneto, Italy

Hand harvested. Practicing organic. Age of vines 30 to 60 years. The stems of the Garganega are snipped when the grapes are ripe and left to slightly raisinate in the vineyard for one month. The Trebbiano di Soave is harvested earlier and adds freshness to the Garganega. The 2018 Soave Classico Monte Grande is intense, wafting up masses of crushed stone and mineral tones, dusty florals and notes of green apple. The textures are enveloping, soft and smooth, supported by stimulating acidity and minerals, while ushering in orchard fruits but also a hint of tart tropical citrus, which adds an exotic note. That said, the Monte Grande is more savory than sweet, with an herbal twang through the finale, complemented by hints of raw almond. This is vinified all in stainless steel, mixing 70% overripe Garganega with 30% Trebbiano di Soave, which balances with its elevated acidity, creating a gorgeous expression of Soave.
$31.99

2020 Peay Vineyards CEP Rosé
100% Pinot Noir
Hopkins Ranch Vineyard, Russian River Valley AVA, Sonoma, California

We love “true” Rosé. By that, we do not mean that ubiquitous dark colored, low acid, high alcohol dreck littering shelves. That style of Rosé is often a by-product from bleeding off juice (a process called saigneé) to concentrate the remaining Grenache, Syrah, Pinot noir, or another red wine that remains in the tank. In any event, that style of Rosé is not what we find interesting. We want refreshing, crisp, bright Rosé that has verve, pairs well with spring and summer cuisine, and you can enjoy without having to pick yourself up off the lawn. That is the Cep Rosé in a nutshell. It is made from Pinot noir grown at Hopkins Ranch in the heart of the Russian River Valley. It is rare to find a true Rosé made from Pinot noir as it is a very expensive grape to grow and buy and you cannot charge much for domestic Rosé (with a few notable exceptions). We pick it early, press it off to tank, and bottle it in December. It has a little kiss of strawberry juicy fruit and watermelon on entry and is loaded with acidity, minerality and depth on the palate.
$22.99

2020 Kir-Yianni Akakies Sparkling Rosé
100% Xinomavro
PDO Amyndeon, Greece

Deep bright rose color. Overabundant bubbles pointing out the wonderful smells of Xinomavro. Enticing aromas of wild strawberries, mellow cherries and ruby tomato. Hearty to taste, with perky acidity and long-lasting sweet taste, every bubble comes as an explosion to the aforementioned characteristics. Uniquely tasteful, having a bright balance between acidity and sugars. Excellent pair with Mediterranean cuisine, spicy dishes of the Asian cuisine and oily fishes. It can also be enjoyed on its own as an aperitif or
after a meal.

 $19.99

2019 Peay Vineyards “Pomarium” Pinot Noir
100% Pinot Noir
Sonoma Coast AVA, California

The 2019 moves along that progression even more rapidly due to the moderate, cool weather and Pomarium emphasizes red fruits and floral lift over extract and density. There is a livelier note in the 2019 with red fruits peeking out instead of the usual black fruits. The palate is velvety and floral aromas of jasmine tea and rose dance around a supple mid-palate. It is not as large framed or compact as Pomarium often presents and is drinking very well right now as the empty bottle at our tasting bore evidence. This is a wine you can enjoy now and be very happy to have opened but you can also age it for as long as you desire to see what develops in bottle.
$69.99

2015 Mayacamas Merlot
98% Merlot & 2% Cabernet Franc
Mt. Veeder, Napa Valley, California

The 2015 Mayacamas Merlot is luscious yet structured. The vines benefited from a pronounced maritime influence as a result of salty evening breezes off the San Pablo Bay. The wine is well structured–poised between fine tannins and velvety fruit. 2015 was blessedly uneventful, the fifth consecutive outstanding vintage for the Napa Valley. Summer was consistently hot and dry without extreme heat and we enjoyed a gentle harvest. The wine spent a total of 30 months in neutral oak foudre and barrels, softening slowly before bottling. Our 2015 Merlot features dynamic red fruit balanced by savory notes and Mount Veeder's tell-tale fine tannins. The palate is medium bodied with notes of fresh plum jam and black tea. Bright acidity and elegant structure predict a 20-year drinking window

2018 Trentadue La Storia Cuvee 32 Estate Red
45% Sangiovese, 31% Montepulciano, & 24% Merlot
Geyserville, California
Our 2018 Cuvee 32 is the 21st vintage of this blend for Trentadue Winery. In retrospect our “Super Tuscan” blend has been highly successful and consistently our top selling wine in the Tasting Room. Every vintage has uniquely different blend determined by the best expression of its components and how they work together. Our young Montepulciano has become an important player in the blend as well as our Brunello Clone Sangiovese. The 2018 vintage produced wines with dark red color, bright fruit and firm acidity and well-structured tannins destined to age well. The 2018 Cuvee 32 has intense cherry/cassis aromas contributed by the Sangiovese followed by deeper red fruit aromas of plums, blueberry, and a hint of pomegranate. Typical for the blend is an enticing mixture of herbs and spices making the wine particularly enjoyable with Italian style food. With more air the wine shows more complex yet still in developing stage aromas and flavors of cocoa, cinnamon, leather, and black licorice. The mouth feel is medium to full with relatively high, food friendly acidity and a long and fresh finish.

"We produce this opulent dessert wine from Merlot grapes grown on our Geyserville Ranch. Once Chocolate Amore is finished aging and is ready for bottling, we infuse a tiny amount of natural chocolate extract to the final blend, creating the perfect marriage of food and wine. 2015 Tenuta di Capraia Chianti Classico Riserva

100% Sangiovese

Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, Italy

Tenuta di Capraia Riserva is a deep red-colored wine. The sensory associations that it evokes are complex and highly refined, gradually fading from fruity to spices and licorice. On the palate it is meaty, harmonious and very thick with a long aromatic finish. Aged at least 15 months in typical Chianti barrels and tonneaux, then at least 6 months in steel and 1 year in the bottle.

With a hint of white peach and aromas of passionfruit, this wine tempts the senses as it is poured from the bottle. On the palate, a prickly mineral texture coalesces with luscious fruit into a long finish.

2013 Tolaini Legit Cabernet Sauvignon

100% Cabernet Sauvignon

Tuscany, Italy

Legit is a wine of power and finesse, an organically-farmed Cabernet Sauvignon made from hand-picked grapes grown in the prized San Giovanni Vineyard in the heart of Catelnuovo Berardenga. Here the gently sloping Tuscan vineyard and its gnarled vines mimic the angular melodies and dissonant twists of Thelonious Monk’s great masterpieces. This is broad and incisive, delivering black currant, plum, leather, earth and wild herb flavors. Dense and beefy, yet with ample fruit for balance, driven by vibrant acidity. This is starting to mellow but still has years of life ahead. Drink now through 2036. 15,000 cases made, 3,000 cases imported.

2014 Jermann Vintage Tunina

Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Ribolla Gialla, Malvasia

Friuli Venzia Giulia IGT, Italy

It should be noted that this is a genuine field blend. It has a brilliant straw-yellow colour with golden highlights. Its aroma is intense, full, with enormous elegance and persistence, and with hints of honey and wild flowers. Its taste is dry, velvety, and very well-orchestrated, with an exceptional persistence due to its particularly full body. It is paired with truffled first courses, with a great variety of fish dishes, especially oven-baked fish and fish in sauce, and it can easily be drunk with white meats. 2011 Poderi Elia Barbaresco Serracapelli

100% Nebbiolo

Barbaresco DOCG, Piemonte, Italy

From the heart of Barbaresco country in Neive comes this stunningly elegant Barbaresco from Poderi Elia. The Stella family has been making wine since 1890, but only recently have garnered international attention–it is easy to understand why. This spectacular Barbaresco bouquet offers tones of red currant and Morello cherry over a layer of toasty oak; the structure is marble-solid, with fine grained tannins that perfectly compliment the Nebbiolo fruit. Aged 24 months in French Allier and 10 months in bottle.

Aging for 36 months in traditional 5 and 25 hectoliters barrels made from French and Slovenian oak, refinement in bottles for 6 months. Color: deep garnet. Nose: very intense, characteristic. Taste: full, warm, velvety with hints of ripe fruit and woodland undergrowth. An outstanding wine for aging, which may be served up to 8/15 years from the harvest.

2012 Martoccia Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG

Brunello di Montalcino is surely one of the most well-known and treasured wines in the world. It is a red wine of extraordinary elegance and concentration obtained from a long ageing process. Deep ruby red, tending to garnet. Complex and intense aroma of cherry, raspberry, licorice and balsam notes. Full bodied, with balanced tannins and nice acidity with a long aftertaste of ripe fruit and spices. Aged 42 months in Slovenian barrels and French oak barriques.
