Our services:
Grapenuts hosts a complimentary wine tasting on the last Friday of every month from 5-7 pm. These are paid tastings and are typically $10 to taste (we promise it's worth it) Attendees may arrive at any time between 5-7pm to sample the wines. The atmosphere is always fun and relaxing; our Friday Tastings are a great way to expand your palate and wine knowledge and meet fellow wine enthusiasts.
We have knowledgeable and friendly staff who can make recommendations and assist with food and wine pairings.
We host wine classes aimed at educating our customers. We hold classes on various topics, such as: regions, wine & cheese pairings, varietals, etc.*
We host quarterly wine dinners with local restaurants.*
We can help in selecting wines and estimating quantities needed for large gatherings like weddings, showers, special events and wine dinners.

About Us
Our Story
Grapenuts Wine was local from the beginning. A group of Wilson wine lovers began private tastings in 1993- the idea of the late Tom Griffin and his wife Ann. In 2002, from the tasting group that gathered weekly, came the 7 original partners* who still own and operate Grapenuts. Our mission is to enhance Wilson’s overall wine experience. We bring carefully chosen wines to our community and sell our selections at reasonable prices. We enjoy sharing our knowledge of wine and food with all wine lovers and folks who are ready to start their wine journey. Jordan Smith, well known for his wine expertise in Wilson, became our first Managing Partner. Without Jordan, there would never have been Grapenuts Wine: we all knew something about wine, but Jordan knew the business of wine.
Grapenuts remains Wilson’s only full-service wine store, and we have more years of combined experience and knowledge than we would like to add up! Very early on, our customers began to refer to us as the “Nuts,” and we reciprocated by welcoming them as the Friends of “Nuts.” We welcome new Friends every day, and feedback is always encouraged. No one could predict how it would all turn out, but, Grapenuts Wine, almost two decades old, keeps on uncorking and making new friends.
